In reference to the Mets trading away RA Dickey…they got back Zach Wheeler who is one of most highly-touted young pitchers in the game and a highly-touted catcher, both who are in the majors right now. At least get the facts before you hate.
The problem with DMB is that 90% of the fans are pure douchenozzles that ruin it for the real fans. You go to a concert tailgate in a parking lot and see 19 year old girls throwing up at 12 PM and dudes crushing light beer and doing whip-its everywhere you turn. Not many musicians have stood the test of time like DMB has. They have so many songs/albums, and like Knox said, many of Daves acoustic riffs are very tricky/unique. He doesn’t have the greatest voice in the world but you can’t deny that they put on a helluva show everytime out there, and they mix out their set list extremely well. I was once a DMB or die type fan and grew out of it as I got older. However, I’ll always consider them to be a classic band that I have many memories from.
On side note– pretty much all of DMB is very musically gifted. Boyd, Dave, Stefan, Carter, Reyshawn, Jeff, etc.
