Rugged Maniac tomorrow, followed by some good KC bbq with the fam. Then up early Sunday to drive home in time to watch the end of the Tour Championship, as well as Mahomes continue to torch defenses(hopefully)
Highest of highs- watching game 6 of the 2011 World Series as a Cards fan
Lowest of lows-watching the Chiefs constant postseason failures, including losing in the largest postseason comeback to the Colts, getting singlehandedly beaten by the Steelers kicker, or losing to a Titans comeback including Mariotta throwing a TD pass to himself…
I’d give up coffee for sure. Cold brew has completely turned me off to regular brewed coffee, and even if cold brew was eliminated as well I could always sub in a tea, energy drink, or soda to get some caffeine. Booze on the other hand has no replacement…
nothing wrong with busch light. Especially now that hunting season’s are opening…the yeti stays in the truck bed full of camo cans just in case a celebration is needed…
At least flat tire guy drives, I assume, a compact car as I can’t imagine another scenario where a new set of tires only set you back a couple hundred bucks
1. Last of the leftover chili prior to heading to the local high school football game.
2. Opening day of archery season tomorrow, probably try to shoot a doe if possible to fill the freezer up, as well as get all the kinks out that come with the first couple hunts of the season. Then Sunday I will most likely be watching the Chiefs lose to the Steelers in embarrassing fashion, because well, the Chiefs.
3. Ranking of the school lunches.
Also with the PB sandwich that was somehow the most creamy, sweet peanut butter I have ever had. (I heard it was just mixed with honey, but I can’t replicate it)
3- chicken patty on bun, oddly enough with ketchup….
2- two rectangle sausage pizzas with cheese sauce dumped between them (probably more of a high school lunch, but I digress)
1-plastic carton of diced peaches which were still 1/2 frozen. Buddy and me would hardcore trade to get as many as possible. I think the most we ever got per person were like 10. Sooo good.
Took my 2 year old to a friend’s birthday party at a trampoline park. Jumped around like an idiot for a couple hours. Legitimately thought I had the flu the next days, turns out it was just complete and utter exhaustion/complete body aches.
Ya to me this is insanity. Maybe me and my friends are losers, but it’s nearly impossible to get everyone on the same page for an online draft via Iphone..much less at a destination.
At my wedding my parents covered the rehearsal dinner and tuxes, while her family covered everything else. I paid for the honeymoon, however for the 6-12 months prior to being married even though we still had separate accounts pretty much all decisions were made jointly.
*for reference, her family is way more well off than mine who can barely make ends meet at times. Her family is great though, so I think this being the “social norm” was also a less awkward way of them agreeing to pay since they are more financially successful.
Shy girl- shoot it! I worked in a leasing office and literally the day after I got engaged a cute girl that had lived in the apartments for a couple years came in to drop off her rent check, and sneakily left a post it with her name and number on my desk. I never said anything as I was still in shock from being engaged and didn’t know how to react, but I will forever regret not at least shooting her a text telling her the situation, because it was definitely appreciated, and had I not been in a relationship I would have 10/10 pursued it.
The only free “snack” my office provides us is coffee…and it sucks. PGP

came here just to see what was said about the Todd. Euphemism Five!

can’t wait. This past weekend gave us a tease, but the upcoming one is upper 80’s, so no vest action quiet yet…
Shit. Meant for Asst to the man.
Damn I forgot about Bosco sticks!!!! So good, then when that cheese and dough hit your belly and started swelling it was impossible to not dose off.

My top three that I still crave….
3- chicken patty on bun, oddly enough with ketchup….

perfect rebuttal. It’s easy to maintain a professional appearance with a sweater, but not with sweat dripping off your forehead.

This is a spot on recap of every Midwestern office for the last 3 months. Especially in farming country…

I second this…
