This is a great take. I turned 30 two weeks ago and at this point since I’m not married nor do I have any children, I feel it is my duty to still engage in debauchery while I still can.
That seems wildly low to me…a glance at my Mint account tells me I drop about $400/month on restaurants and bars, so ~$4,800 a year. I get that it’s an average but still, guess I need to slow my roll
Possibly. I just see it as a way of encouraging disordered eating by declaring certain foods as “bad”. Real ice cream is not bad. It is a food just like chicken or broccoli, though with some obvious minimal processing.
By developing a healthy relationship with whole food, you can eat and feel satisfied while allowing yourself the occasional indulgence without feeling guilty or like you broke some rule. This isn’t a question of morality, certain foods aren’t “evil”.
Again, this is simply my opinion and coming from someone who went from 275 to 185 and learned some lessons along the way.
I’m honestly not a fan of all these “facsimile” foods. I think it’s setting the wrong mindset and some of the fake ingredients often cause digestion or other issues.
Just eat real, whole foods. I lost 80 pounds eating high protein, low carb and ate normal, unprocessed food. The whole point of low carb/keto is that you’re replacing the carbs with a higher fat/protein intake to increase satiety. IME, these “fake” foods don’t do that.
To each their own of course, and I wish you all the luck in reaching your goals, but that’s just my two cents.
The hotels are actually pretty reasonable because the casinos just want to get you (and keep you) on the property. The clubs/restaurants is where the money goes through the roof. Expect $5k min for a table at Marquee etc if it’s all dudes.

Ask Paul how many disc golf country clubs there are
Came in here to post this.

It’s like a choose your own adventure book, except every ending is diarrhea.
Must’ve missed that episode
The other option is “The Mike Pence Method”

This. 4-5 lbs of that was simply water stored in the body that gets released when you go lower carb.

Could not agree more and this is coming from someone who runs half-marathons once a year.

What kind of psycho has the bachelor party the night before the wedding?
The spring-break-level of drinking done during my company’s national sales meeting is something that genuinely gives me the scaries.
Who else just furiously googled “google mail app that lets you see who opened your email”?
Maybe you should stop acting like a cuck all the time then.
I enjoyed how drunk and aggressive Dillon was. Felt like he was one wrong comment from someone catching those hands.
That Austin dude is a joke. Here is Simplicity’s BBB page: https://www.bbb.org/washington-dc-eastern-pa/business-reviews/cell-phone-and-tablet-equipment-supplies-and-repair/simplexity-llc-in-reston-va-183237348
