College football fan faking work Mon-Fri to make it to football all day on Saturday. Offseason is the worst. Find my football rants at readoptional.com
Great post. In all seriousness – seeing a therapist is something everyone should do, whether you think you need it or not. There shouldn’t be a stigma attached to it, and I’ve tried to be completely open with friends, and it’s unbelievable to me how much of an impact these conversations have had in getting others to consider checking in on their mental health. Put it this way – you go in for an annual physical, why are periodic mental health check ins any different?
I’m lucky enough to work for a company where mental health is completely covered by our insurance. Almost every one of my coworkers talks with a therapist on a monthly basis. I never considered seeing one before, as I consider myself in great mental health, but I decided to give it a try. And I really couldn’t live without it now. My coworkers think of it as something similar to going to the gym for your mind – it really is a workout and you leave feeling refreshed and in control.
Again for the back – there shouldn’t be a stigma to talking with a mental health professional, and ending this stigma (along with more access to affordable mental health care) is one of the best things we can do for future generations.
Agree with every pick with one caveat: Mizzou line looks really, really, odd. Like you, I was expecting +6 or +7. Gonna keep an eye on the trends with that one – I never like to be on the same side when the public loves an underdog. When it seems too good to be true…
And I’ve already seen the USC line at +7 at some books…if it gets to 7.5, grab it. Probably won’t go higher than that.
I’m right there with you on favorites. If I see a dog I like, I’m quick to go big. 9 times out of 10 I will talk myself off a favorite and just sit that game out.
I do agree that the line seems about right for Dallas – my point being that 4 points on the road just screams Dallas winning by a FG.
I’m not giving up 4 points on the road, that’s for sure.
But then again, I hate betting favorites – ask any bookie and they’ll tell you their best clients bet nothing but favorites and overs. Sharps are always looking for the dogs.
Patrick Reed beating Harris English to win the NCAA championships was brutal. English couldn’t be a nicer guy, and Reed couldn’t be a bigger dick who stole from his teammates.
That Georgia team was absolutely loaded, even after Reed was given the boot.

This one has proven difficult.
Oooh boy, bring on the Stevie Wonder truthers!
Yeah, but when half of the numbers are zero, the median will still skew low.
You think DeFries will stand idly by while some pleeb attempts to besmirch brunch? You must be new here.
The work lap tends to lead to a conversation with the work wife and kills 15 minutes while breaking up the day. It’s what I live for Mon-Thur.
I use scoresandodds.com for betting trends currently. But I do like the look of this site – will be checking it out this week.

Big 10 football talk is so cute.
Fair enough. I do like the Bills and Packers. 49ers are a literal dumpster fire.

That’s a lot of favorites you got there…

Never would have survived Athens from the sounds of it.
I just want to know what kind of bachelorette party ends up getting drinks in Montana. Woof…
It’s a myth!
Good god, that was somehow worse that what she posts on PGP.
News flash: you are annoying, your crazy is showing so tuck that back in.
Heed your own advice. #FireKendra
