I just read the company emails with select articles the miserable analysts break down for us so we don’t have to sift through garbage financial news. Seems to work alright.
I mean in the north we don’t really wear too many of them anymore. Like “Polo” polos. But in the south I see a lot of performance collegiate polos still being worn in a bar setting which I can get behind, but they’re just not relevant in the north anymore unless you’re golfing or doing some outdoor activity like Centrum alluded to.
And also there’s a HUGE difference between a button down and an actual dress shirt that I wish some guys would recognize. Your stiff collared dress shirt made to wear with a neck tie should not be worn to a bar unless you just took off said tie after work and are still in your suit. AKA a stockbroker or businessman doesn’t wear a button down, he more than likely wears a dress shirt so that comparison is irrelevant.
I mean I always struggle as to what to wear to the bar because polos are basically obsolete anymore and a t-shirt just makes it look like you’re not going to get any (which you probably won’t.) I never go with the straight button down though, I always wear a vest (which you will probably also say every guy does) with either a button down underneath or just a long sleeved tee. There’s a very fine line of bar attire for men between trying too hard or looking like you really don’t care about yourself.
I don’t watch the show but just read your reviews and I tend to just believe all the quotes you say and your input as well. Makes the story that much more interesting when I can imagine some of these things actually being said.
According to a doctor I spoke with, Adderall has the same effect as a cup of coffee does for someone who doesn’t have ADD or whatever it is it’s supposed to treat. Basically he told me to fuck off and just drink coffee because he wouldn’t write me an addy script since it wouldn’t do shit for me anyway. PGP.
Agreed. I stopped reading after I saw Thin Mints at 5. I refuse to spend my money on any other type of Girl Scout cookie because I don’t want to be disappointed.
In all honesty how in the hell is this even supposed to go down even? I mean I asked my now ex to be official while we were sitting on her couch. Like is there a proper way to do this without looking like you’re proposing, or is it always just going to be an awkward “sooooo like…. are we a thing now?”
I don’t mind going to the theatre for big movies but I usually don’t want to pay that amount of money. I’m super anal about maximizing my utility (econ grad) and if it’s not a blockbuster it’s just not worth me dropping $15 which would pay for an entire month’s worth of HBONow. But agreed some movies like LOTR or some military movies just have to be seen in theatre to get the best experience.
Yeah the older you get the more you realize that things cost shit and you can’t just get everything free forever. If you can only afford it if it’s free, you can’t afford it.

Hopefully you don’t hire them on full-time.

Was going to say the same. He’s going into retirement so he can dedicate his undivided attention to Katherine from this point on.

I really need to start reading this series but feel it would take me an entire work day to do so and I don’t exactly have an enti…. wait yes I do.
And?
Nice #HumbleBrag

I was about to make a lewd joke but I decided against it. Glad you covered for me, sort of.
I actually wouldn’t have been able to come up with a better time.

Communication is key. I’d rather it that way than to do something and her be like “uh what the fuck are you doing?”
“I’m….. leaving…. that’s what I’m doing…..”
Idk too soon imo.

Good luck man. I knew I failed so I wasn’t really on the edge of my seat but it’s still unnerving either way.
