As a financial advisor, re: Snapchat and KJ, all I can say is wow. We know when Warren Buffett and Carl Icahn speak, markets listen. But Kylie Jenner? Jesus Christ burn it down. Burn it all down.
It’s also weird how millennials are obsessed with certain things that seem to have absolutely no reason to have obsession with. Like avocados. Or avocado toast. Or brunch. Don’t get me wrong, brunch is great (not an avocado fan *gasp*) but come on, stop acting like certain random things are the best things in the world. Just live like a normal human.
I agree. My girlfriend always gives me shit about getting to the airport 2 hours early. The one time she won and dropped me off an hour and a half early, I had to flag down TSA as my flight was boarding and I was still far back in the security line. Never again will I listen to her. Nothing wrong with getting to your gate early so you can enjoy a coffee or beer. Doesn’t help that I get massive airport anxiety about missing my flight until I’m through TSA though.
I would tend to agree. Also notice how those who complain about how stressful or busy their lives are on social media usually have the least amount of stress, or simply can’t comprehend anything that just may be a little more work or stressful. i.e. certain professions (won’t name them but I think we know who they are) complaining about their “difficult” jobs while there are 22 year old I-bankers working 100 hours a week on shit that is actually pretty damn important. Everyone thinks they have the most difficult and stressful jobs on social media.
Tl;dr: Stop complaining someone always has it worse.
I’m definitely no expert on LinkedIn but my two cents after searching for a job for 6 months on there:
1. You’re not going to get hired by Goldman or JPM by applying on LinkedIn
2. You’re really not going to get any job with a whole lot of value by applying on LinkedIn
3. Any job you do get invited to interview for is more times than not a complete BS pyramid scheme-y sales job spearheaded by people like some of the goons in this article
4. It’s a great way to make connections with potential employers but usually that’s where it all ends
5. It’s going to take a hell of a lot more to get a job than just sitting on LinkedIn applying for “Investment Analyst I” positions via the “easy apply” feature
6. It’s damn hard to get a job so if it seems too good to be true, it is
Leveraging connections through actual human interaction is the way to get a job. LinkedIn is just a resource for folks to think they’re doing something productive and “networking” when it actually is quite valueless and a waste of time. But hey, whatever sells those Herbalife sups!
Disclaimer: I have no grounds to opine on this subject other than I wasted my time on LinkedIn for 6 months thinking it might actually work — it didn’t.
TL;DR: LinkedIn seems pretty valueless if you’re actually looking to make real moves.
Brady chucked the ball down field a few time because he knows that the Jags will PI. It’s part of why he’s as great as he is. You can’t shield a player out of bounds and not let him go for the ball. The other was was extremely obvious as well. And also on the fumble, the ball did come out before he was down but he pinned it against his leg and had possession when he was on the ground. It really should’ve been the pats ball.
But regardless of the outcome in the Super Bowl, this same narrative is going to occur. Might as well write the headlines right now. Pats could win with 10 penalties to 1 on the Eagles and everyone would still cry foul. Pun intended.
You can’t be serious right now. None of those calls were controversial. Most of the yards were on 2 blatant PI calls too. The other 7 penalties were mostly on the Jags offense including: illegal shift, false start and delay of game which are simply inexcusable and emit lack of discipline. Gtfo with these ref conspiracy theories. The Jags blew it and the Pats took advantage as always.
I consider myself a cookie aficionado. Usually the store brand break aparts produce the best cookies (for a 20-something male who doesn’t know how to bake real cookies.) The key is taking them out of the oven when they’re still pretty light in color and still doughy, as they will cook more on the sheet. Usually about 2 minutes before the package says to take them out. Toll house are decent but Kroger brand break aparts take the cake for me. Also the Betty Crocker “just add an egg and butter” are legit too. A little more cakey than break aparts but still decedent.
Name checks out.

Christ, I’m getting old.
Namviet
Plot twist: Dave is her boyfriend.
Overlord. Lol.

So what’s holding you back?
LMABF? More like LMFAO am I right?!?
Yup. Chode vs. long and strong.
Get back to us when we have a 10%+ hit.
Coincidence? I think not.

You look like a gay cowboy.

Decadent, not decedent
