I completely agree. Just for him to acknowledge her feelings and reassure her that it’s just for fun and a special occasion. Being honest and open about this will help from letting it build into something else.
I’ve definitely browned out in a $1k Rent the Runway dress and sat on the dirty city sidewalk and they took it back, no questions asked, not extra fees. I think they know what goes down at those open bar galas.

I’m not a huge fan of fiction, but The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein is incredible. It’s written from a dog’s perspective and it’s magic.
