My favorite baseball memory is stealing home plate standing up because I knew if I started running in the pitcher’s windup he would get distracted and throw a wild pitch.
My dad was the small town, well known guy so I always got picked by the guy who had the best player in the league as a son. We dominated Little League with speed and tricks, like the ol’ hidden ball.
Just pick fun or on the rise teams to follow. 2017 recommendations: OU, OkSt, PSU, Purdue, Maryland, Louisville, Clemson, Wake Forest, Miss St, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Oregon, USF, etc. Don’t go full bore on any team, just pay attention to the fun.
In my 8+ years since HS gf, I have not been on 8 dates with anyone (unless casual hookups count as dates). I don’t think I’ve been past 5, but now I’m thinking.

I’m all about the budget reds. Italian sangiovese, Argentine malbecs, Australian syrah and I just stay away from most Napa wineries.
