I’m from California and moved to North Carolina. Probably the two coolest states in the USA from what I have seen. (Haven’t been to New England or the Northwest…. Hawaii and Alaska don’t count)

The way you get around it is to find out which bars have “daily specials.” The specials have to be all day and usually aren’t as good. The best is pint night at carolina ale house on Wednesdays. Most local spots don’t even offer specials.
