I came out of my hiatus at the beginning of the month and I think the time off improved my first date skills. I was significantly less nervous and changed what app I was using, so I got way better quality guys. Since my head was a lot more clear, I was just able to be myself and if it went well great and if not there will be another.
Don’t bank on this though. PSLF is one of the first things getting slashed in the new budget and there are a lot more caveats than just work for a non profit for 10 years, really do some research on it.
Hey kids-placeholder girl here in the flesh. Thanks for the feedback! I met this guy about 6-8 months into my dating hiatus, and he was the first guy I had genuine feelings for in a long while, so I guess that’s why I took it so tough. The app scene really hasn’t been working for me so I’m just going to keep doing my thing and hope to meet the right guy along the way.
If you’re expecting bottomless mimosas or bloodies, let me just disappoint you now , those don’t really exist here. It depends where you are but Friendly Toast in Cambridge is great (be prepared to wait), Lulu’s in Allston (mimosa buckets get you more bang for your buck), Tremont 647 in the South End, Devlin’s in Brighton I believe has a bloody bar. If you need more suggestions or want feedback on places feel free to DM me on Twitter.
So most of the food made in food trucks is prepped in a commercial kitchen, and then only assembled or last minute stuff (ex- making a burger or anything grilled) is done in the truck. Trucks are great for chefs to gain a following and make the money to open a brick and mortar restaurant, like Ms. Cheezious in Miami or Roxy’s in Boston, both of which make arguably the best grilled cheese that you can stuff your face with. Also, in regards to cleanliness, trucks are pretty regulated and do have to meet criteria to operate.
Agreed. Every year my relatives give me money for Christmas, under the condition that I have to spend it on some thing fun. This year I treated myself to a night at a bougie hotel, other years I’ve had a spa day or taken a nice day trip somewhere. I only do it once a year and it seriously makes all the difference.
The pity stares are the worst. But I did find people were/ have been (since I’m still recovering) significantly nicer to me since my injury, even if its little things like holding the door or giving up their seat for me.

That was me on Monday. Literally the stupidest smile on my face all day from the date the previous night. Good luck!
You can have 100k of debt and still have a low paying job. State prosecutors average 49k/yr.

Alex would be a green bubble

Clear alcohol is for rich women on diets.
Other Bostonians feel free to contribute

It probably wasn’t but I also have a broken leg, and while I usually would just head to the bakery myself, I cannot get there.
To put PMS in perspective, fellas, I just spent $10 to Postmate a single cupcake from my favorite bakery to my home and subsequently my mouth.

My birthday is on the 30th, so going out tomorrow night and brunch/day drinking on Sunday.
Cum dumpster or cum rag are personal favorites of mine.
Ignition (Remix) is always a crowd favorite.

Also, next week is my birthday. Definitely going to wear my boot going out for more free drinks/ attention/ a guaranteed seat.
Agreed. I just started walking after breaking my leg back in February and people are so much nicer when they find out/see you’re injured.
Came here to say the same thing! LGR!!!
