Haven’t posted here for a while due to a busy few weeks, but figured I’d chime in here on my soapbox:
Run, don’t walk, away from this girl. She just loves the attention of guys, whether it’s from you or some other dude. She probably has a line of other guys itching to get in her pants just like you are. That text is a crimson red flag: she just broke up with her boyfriend and is already craving attention from another guy (you). Seriously, she may be hot and you may have some amazing sex, but she’s not relationship material.
Speaking from (unfortunate) experience, I know these how these JAPs (Jewish American Princesses) operate all too well.
There’s a law that says that if a card charges an annual fee, that fee can’t be more than 25% of the credit limit. Otherwise, your first year’s fee is waived. Most cards get around this by having minimum credit limits that are above the 4x fee threshold. The Ritz isn’t one of them (as far as I know, I opened mine like 6 months ago). All you have to do once you get it is call Chase and transfer your limit to another card. Then either your fee will get refunded or you won’t be charged.
I’m no marketing major, but I fail to see how one can make a leap from a joke comment like that to “PGP ENDORSES VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN!”
For a site that markets itself as an “anything goes” look at the PGP life and tries to appeal to all audiences from around the country, there’s definitely some censorship and sticking to a political narrative here. What I said is nowhere near as bad as the type of crap that was said on here about Kendra or other writers.
That said, you guys are obviously free to do as you wish when it comes to moderating comments, it’s your site and business. Just shitty to see this kind of censorship on my favorite online community.
Jeez guys, it was a tongue-in-cheek comment about a fictional character that we all love to hate and a viral news story. I obviously don’t want any woman to get beat up ever. Same for any guy. And agreed with Cube, you know that if it was about a male character, it would still be there.
If you’re going to delete such comments, where do you draw the line?
If you guys think this card looks nice, check out Chase’s Ritz Carlton card. That’s pure metal and it makes the Reserve look like a plastic piece of crap. You also get 3 free Ritz Carlton nights with it, and you can avoid the annual fee by lowering your credit limit to $1,500.
Sorry about your wife cheating on you, but in my opinion, there’s no going back. You’ll never be able to trust her 100%, no matter what. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

But in all seriousness, you bitched out, deFries. You had an awesome and unique story going here that was the reason so many of us read this series and you bitched out by going with the cliche “happy” ending.

I literally stay here mainly for the weather. I admit that I’m spoiled, but I couldn’t handle the humidity or snow every year.
