wife and i are headed to a good friend’s lake house this evening.
Tomorrow I plan on drinking a case of beer, getting sunburned, grilling out, being the designated boat waver, and trying to score on the road.
Sunday I will get out early to lick my wounds in the comfort of my own home. I want to finish getting my “backyard” set up and chill the rest of the evening.
This is a great idea. I will be implementing at the Clay apartment as well. Question… Do you work any at night? Sometimes I have to (or choose to, gotta get ahead) burn that midnight oil and this would fly in the face of the no tech rule.
When I first started a sales role my old man told me that my girlfriend (now wife, he new we were in for the long haul) was my most important customer. I’m not in sales any more but it’s still true. No matter how much you are drowning in work, always make time for your lady.
He also taught me about “pull my finger” so there’s that.
I went for almost a year and it no doubt changed my life. I was able to mend relationships with my family, change jobs, and connect deeper with my wife. It also showed me that, even though there are some factors outside of my control, I was/am responsible for me and how I respond. If you are considering seeking help, I promise it will be worth while.
Unfortunately, that conversation only brings resentment. I tried to tell my best friend that his chick sucked and we almost fought right there. He couldn’t see that I was right until months after they broke up.
You should be able to go through your insurance provider to see who is in network. From there it is just 1) finding what you want and 2) making sure it is a good fit.
Operation Paul wall (buying a grill) was a success. I decided on charcoal. Found one that fit what I was looking for at academy. It came with a smoke box so I’ll be able to smoke meat in addition to smoking that ass.
I’m debating between propane and charcoal.
Charcoal tastes better but propane is more convieneinet for cooking up some chicken breasts during the week. I’m leaning towards the charcoal (heb carries a nice all seasons brand).
Sometimes I get crafty and mix miller lite with deep eddy grapefruit. I don’t recommend it at all but it is my iconic craft cocktail.
I’ll take my Texas heat and being able to be in or around water 6 months out of the year. No complaining from me
Slow day at the office?
My plan was to get a 24 pack of Miller Lites but I might have to switch it up.
I feel ya. Even still, plenty of time to work after gym until 9. I’m just trying to set myself up well for the long run.

It’s 4-5 years old. It was challenged in court after the first year it was in effect. I guess it finally got resolved.
Looks like we have almost the same weekend. Great minds or something like that
Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ all cool type of weekend. Wife gave me the green light to buy a new grill. I’m pumped.
I’ve got nothing tonight.
Tomorrow I’m doing a bit of volunteer work, hitting the apartment pool, and breaking in the grill.
Sunday I might do a hike or dog park before it gets too hot and watch the final round of jack’s tournament.
Take care
Just give me a case of miller lites and leave me be.
Throw a jalapeño in there for me
