“True Detective” Season Two Casts Actual Porn Stars For A Giant Orgy Scene

What’s the only thing that could possibly improve on the exercise in television anthology perfection that is HBO’s “True Detective”? If you answered “A massive, full-blown orgy scene starring actual porn stars” then congratulations, you’re some kind of clairvoyant, or a brilliant network executive. Either way, you’ve probably got HBO calling on Line 1.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 24-year-old adult film stars Amia Miley and Peta Jensen were hired for an Eyes Wide Shut-esque group sex sequence, with dozens of naked bodies writhing in bacchanalian pleasure. Participants reported that stars Rachel McAdams and Colin Farrell were present at the filming, which took place over the last few days in a Pasadena mansion. Apparently, the porn stars weren’t completely naked either…so…what’s the point, exactly?

You might remember Amia Miley from that gritty Power Rangers fan-film that took the internet by storm a few weeks ago.

HBO refused to comment on the hires, but a source close to production says that “True Detective” didn’t hire Miley and Jensen for their porn experience. Rather, they just signed up to be extras who were willing to strip naked for the show. Lucky them, right? You sign up for a second job that pretty much happens to be the exact same thing as your first job. We call that “double-dipping,” which probably means something completely different in porn.

Get hyped, “True Detective” fans. Maybe you’ll get to see Rachel McAdams getting it on with a bunch of people. As if you needed another reason to watch the show..
