When you’re single and trying to tingle, you’ve got pretty limited opportunities to get the job done. Between your fifty-hour work week and every one of your friends seemingly getting married every weekend, your only opportunity to “meet” people is by downloading an app on your phone and shooting for the stars. Maybe you’ve got a free weekend on the horizon and you begin fever-dreaming about the possibility of finding her at a bar. Or maybe you’ve got Wedding Crasher dreams of getting whisked away on a Nantucket vacation after sweeping her off her feet on the reception’s dance floor.
But no matter how you look at it, finding “the one” is hard which is why you have to choose your spots. Everyone’s least favorite dating app, Tinder, saw this opportunity and allowed you to swipe left and right on varying zip codes that you either 1.) might be visiting sooner than later or 2.) are willing to move to if a hot enough person finds the photos from your Facebook profile acceptable enough to swipe right on. The feature, which now has a sample size acceptable enough to report on, is much more popular for the cities you’d probably expect.

Lotta volume shooters going for the romance cities, huh? I’m all for dreaming big but how many people are honestly heading to London, Paris, and New York every weekend when they’re probably more likely to be sitting in their parents’ basement in rural Iowa beating Halo for the fiftieth time. Can’t knock the hustle, though. Shooters shoot and love has no borders. .
