Is Taft Ale House worth a damn? Only one I haven’t been to yet.
Taft’s Ale House is my spot. The downstairs bar is one of my top places to go. And if you’re looking for a meal it’s great too. Highly recommend.
Their beer is pretty solid, their tri-tip steak (or tri-tip steak salad) is amazing. The big downtime is the wait. I’d rather get food somewhere else and grab a beer there after.

I went there for lunch one day, it’s sweet. I didn’t have the beer though but the building is really cool
It’s more of a restaurant than a bar, it’s a cool place but the basement bar area is a bit to hipster for me. They infuse their own vodka and do the whole hand crafted drink thing there. If that’s your style you’ll like it.
