Today is a work from home day at Grandex, but it’s also a company happy hour day. That starts at 4:00 on West 6th. After that, we’re probably looking at dinner somewhere downtown. I’m not sure.
Tomorrow, however, is the first of my two live fantasy football drafts that I do with old friends. Auction draft or your league is a joke. It’s at a country club. These are always fun.

Tee time booked at TPC Scottsdale, only 104 and cloudy tomorrow so it should be relatively pleasant.
My favorite thing in Arizona is when people tell me it’s a dry heat like that makes 104 not hot. Either way, enjoy
My response to that logic has always been “Have you ever opened an oven or been blitzed by a hair dryer, on high, all day?” It usually puts things in perspective.

I’m excited about this weekend. Tonight we’re doing a pizza and movie night (perfect to recharge the batteries). Tomorrow a college friend is in town so we’ll be trying to drink faster than we sweat it out at Kirby Ice House. Probably spend too much money on dinner somewhere too. Sunday the wife works so I’m going to take the pup to my parents house for swimming and burgers. Have a blessed weekend y’all
Getting up at 3:30 to take my sister to the airport followed up by the gym and a little brunch action with the Minneapolis PGP crew.

It is a mix of fun and sobering reality. Saturday is my Leg-day with my training partners and then a team meal afterwards. Sunday is a joint bridal shower for my buddy and his wife. (Hey, bottomless mimosa and bloody mary bar to help offset the scaries!) The overlying issue is preparing to sell the house as my wife and I are in the process of a divorce. Also, attempting to construct my related submission to next week’s mailbag. Apologies if this brings anybody’s mood down! Complimentary brunch is always a plus right?
Always get an iron clad prenup. Believe me.
That sounds like a rough situation. T’s & P’s, but better you realize this now when you have time to restart your life then when you’re 50 and it’s kind of too late.

The wife and I are meeting with a financial advisor tomorrow so we will be arguing over the money I spend on golf and the money she spends on makeup. Other than that, plan is to take it easy, grill, and have two too many deep eddy grapefruit sodas.

Chris Stapleton is probably the best concert I’ve been to. He’s the only person I’ve ever seen live that sounds exactly like his recordings.

Side note: Is it weird if I always buy 2 tickets to concerts? I figured that it’s easier to find a last minute person to go with vs. a last minute ticket.
Not weird at all. I always just buy an extra thinking I can find a date. It rarely works but it keeps me hopeful.
going to visit the parents. Might try to sneak in a quick 18 in the morning with pops if the weather holds. Then hopefully peeling out early Sunday to make it back to the house early enough to grill something and veg out for a while before doing an online draft Sunday evening, all the while dreading my final semester for bachelors #2 starting Monday.
Double date tonight. Smoking some ribs then going to see Chris Stapleton on saturday and I cannot fucking wait. I’ve been wanting to see hime live for so long. Have a good weekend people.
