Chillwave is a genre of music unlike any other. It’s a mixture of retro-synth beats and downtempo pop music and it’s perfect for a day in the cubes. It’s super chill, but it’s not going to lull you to sleep like Sufjan Stevens would (not that there is anything wrong with Sufjan, he’s just not office music).
I don’t know how many of you are into aimlessly cruising Soundcloud for hidden gems, but since I am prone to do that on occasion, I figured I’d bless you with this chillwave Seinfeld themed remix.
Seinfeld has been going through a little bit of a resurgence lately. We’ve got fashion-forward geniuses embracing Jerry’s normcore stylings of white Nike hightops with 501s, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is an ageless wonder who can’t stop making fire television shows, and now we get this track. Let it fuckin’ rip, man..
