This Is Not A Drill – Taco Bell Is Giving Away Free Food Today

Who doesn’t love tacos? More to the point: who doesn’t love FREE tacos? Well, unless you are the sort of crazy that doesn’t enjoy deliciousness you don’t have to pay for, read on because I’ve got some urgent news for you.

Taco Bell is giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos today from 2pm to 6pm as part of a promotion they ran during the NBA Finals. In May, the chain promised to give away the tacos if an away team “stole” a win from a home team during the series, which is exactly what happened in Game 4 when the Warriors beat the Cavs in Cleveland. Of course, Lebron and crew avenged that loss in Game 7 to take the title, but who cares about the NBA Champions — we are talking free tacos here.

Of course, you’re only saving a whopping $1.49 and no one is rolling through the drive-thru for one taco. Clearly the peeps at your local T-Bell are counting on you to spend some cash when you pick up your on-the-house snack, but who cares? I’ll take any excuse I can get to make a run for the border..
