People do a lot of gimmicky things at weddings – cigar-rolling stations, sand sculptures, you name it. But every once in a while, a couple takes the path less traveled and comes away with something even more awesome than just their open bar.
Case in point, Peter Rushton and Shahr Nouraini who got married in Rivera Maya this past May. With their registry already donating to a local animal shelter in Mexico, their wedding photographer came up with the idea of allowing rescue dogs into their wedding to actually film the ceremony. The video, which is about as feel-good as it gets, becomes even more feel-good when you hear the news that two of three dogs have since been adopted.
Watch the video in its entirety if you like feeling warm and tingly.
Not to be outdone, the actual wedding photographers caught the bride interacting with the hired help for the day. There’s no word on whether or not the wedding crashers abused their open bar priveledges, but I’m going to assume they kept it chill.

I love absolutely everything about this entire situation. I love that they’re donating to the dog shelter, that the cameraman thought to include shelter dogs in filming, that the bride had no idea and was so excited about it, and that the dogs are getting adopted because of it. This is so awesome all around.
