I hate on engagements, weddings, and marriage announcements a lot. Like, a lot. Some could even say I make a living off doing it, and they wouldn’t be that far from the truth. But every once in a while I, too, will get caught up in something and think to myself, “Aww, that was so cute.”
And today was one of those times.
Remember the guy who followed his wife around Ikea and made puns out of pretty much everything? You probably saw the video considering it’s been viewed almost 10 million times on YouTube. And if you haven’t, here’s a refresher.
See, as much as his wife hated him in that moment, you can’t not love this guy. “Hey Donna,” gets stuck in my head whenever I see that video. And today, he redeemed all of his annoying antics by proposing to his girlfriend, Donna, in equally punny fashion.
I’m not crying, you’re crying. .
His relationship survived IKEA, I’m impressed, that’s how you know it’s real, but I was doubly impressed it survived all of his puns.
