The Oscar Nominees Just Dropped, And ‘The Revenant’ Dominated

Year of Leo, anyone? After taking down best actor at the Golden Globes on Sunday, Leonardo DiCaprio decided to keep his hot streak going by getting nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor, an award he’s famously never won. I don’t think throwing the side-eye at Lady Gaga did him any favors in getting in the Academy’s good graces, but whatever, they’re a bunch of stiffs anyway.

The big story? The Revenant lead all the pack with 12 nominations. But it wasn’t all fun and games when the nominees were announced this morning, as Concussion and Straight Outta Compton were essentially shut out from any major awards.

The awards, which will air on ABC on February 28, include all the following nominees:
