Ahh, the NFL Rookie Dinner, a tale as old as time itself, a time-honored tradition…or, some might call it hazing. To each their own.
Either way, you’ve got to be impressed by the Philadelphia Eagles for racking up a $17,747.86 at the Philadelphia location of the world-famous Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse.
Eagles second-year offensive lineman Lane Johnson tweeted that picture out on Friday night with the caption “Rookie Dinner.”

The dinner included:
5 Ribeye Steaks – $445
2 bottles of 2006 Harlan Estate Cabernet – $2,900
1 bottle of 2009 Shafer Cabernet Hillside select – $2,650
1 bottle of 2005 Screaming Eagle Cabernet – $3,495
And a mind-blowing 19 shots of Remy Martin Louis XIII, costing GOD-ONLY-KNOWS-HOW-MUCH and if I totalled it up I’d piss myself with anger.
Basically, the grand total of this dinner blows the dinner you had with your boss that one time out of the fucking water and costs roughly half of your year’s salary. Feel inadequate yet? Maybe you shouldn’t have quit Pee-Wee football all those years ago, huh?

$5,225 for the Remy
$472 tip seems awfully light.
It’s autograt, so it’s going to be less than what you’d normally pay. I’d hope that they added more as extra once the credit card was run.
Why does autograt only give 3%? Does it do marginal rates?
