Twitter announced this morning that it was doing away with Vine — the social video platform that, only three years ago, was the most downloaded app in the world.
Outside of creating ‘Vine stars’ — miserable adults who make sponsored videos for money — Vine has been a source of great pleasure in many of our lives. Instead of mocking Twitter for totally fucking up Vine, let’s instead honor our fallen video-sharing app by watching the 32 best Vines of all time.
RIP, Vine. You deserved so much better than this..
Vine is a continual reminder of how I’m not very funny or clever, and why I’m stuck at this mediocre & mundane job sitting behind a computer.
