The WWE’s Stone Cold Steve Austin may have built a country boy persona out of beer chugging, camouflage wearing, and, you know, pro wrestling, but that hasn’t stopped him from displaying that equality transcends typical stereotypes.
The man who famously rebelled both in and out of the ring (and in and out of character) against his boss, came out in support of same-sex marriage.
“I’m for same-sex marriage. I believe that any human being in America, any human being in the world, that wants to be married…if it’s the same-sex, more power to them.”
Austin also gave homophobic religious groups the old double bird and stunner combo, saying, “What also chaps my ass, some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that.’ Which one of these mother**kers talked to God and God said that same-sex marriage was a no can do? Can you verify? Can you give me some background on that 411?”
As NBA and college football players make the news for coming out as gay, WWE star Darren James recently came out as well, showing a terrific progressiveness for an organization and industry with less than forgiving stereotypes.
Anyone who wants to be married should be, and that’s the bottom line, ’cause Stone…Cold…said so.

I’ve lost respect for Stone Cold. Liberal douche.
This is either awesome sarcasm by LTD or hilarious social disconnect
You must be a different breed of stupid if you think that supporting gay marriage makes you a liberal. It makes you normal.
