Here is an interesting piece I got this weekend. I live in Houston and this Saturday I had my 6th (literally) Uber drive with the exact same story. “I have been here almost a year. I was an army translator in Iraq for the US Army and they moved my family here in return for my services during the war”
Take what you want from that but 6 different guys seems like a lot for one city
Maybe you were just drunk and it’s the same guy every time.
There was an article in the Chronicle or Houstonia or something after the Super Bowl about its impact on Uber in Houston. Guy they rode with for a night and featured had the same story.
