Jack of all trades, Master of... Science! Panama-born, Virginia-raised, and (hopefully) Connecticut-bound. She values live music, embraces her eidetic memory, and enjoys being told, "Don't work too hard." Still looking for that perfect job.
Sleeping in 15 minutes quadrupled your commute time?!? I thought DC/NOVA was bad but apparently you live on Mars.
A dump truck and a pickup truck were involved in a head-on collision in the HOV lanes (they close at night for construction/paving) earlier that morning. 2 or 3 hospitalized and 1 fatality. By the time rush hour started, VSP and VDoT still had the HOV lanes closed for the accident investigation. Had I woken up sooner, I would have seen the traffic alert and taken the VRE to work.
