The Chicago Bears are a very bad football team. So bad, in fact, that some fans are too embarrassed to wear Bears apparel in public anymore.
During yesterday’s 26-0 drubbing from the Seattle Seahawks, one sad Bears fan did the saddest thing I could ever imagine seeing at an NFL game: He took off his jersey, left it on his seat at CenturyLink Field and left:

That is pure, unadulterated resignation right there. If I saw an opposing fan do that in my team’s stadium, I wouldn’t even take pleasure in it. It would just make me sad. Hell, looking at this photo forced me to get up and walk around for a minute. Geez. Poor guy is having his soul crushed by his favorite team and probably paid at least $150 to watch it firsthand.
Can you blame him? The Bears are fucking terrible. I mean, look at this graphic of their offensive drives yesterday — lead by inept quarterback Jimmy Clausen:

The Bears didn’t cross the Seahawks 45-yard line the entire game. That’s enough to drive even the most rational fan to insanity.
Keep the sad Bears fans in your thoughts and prayers. Heartbreaking to see what is happening to them..

NFL merch should already be selling Bears jerseys with C. Jones on it
If that’s who the Bears take with the 1st overall pick, I’ll ditch my jersey too.
They might want to wait to pull the trigger on him until he can prove he knows interceptions aren’t good.
Wouldn’t blame you, but I think they might be a lock for the number 1 pick regardless.
I’m not even a bears fan, but I was screaming for them to go for it on 4th and 1 at the Hawks 45. They were down 20. They did not.
The announcers were actually praising Adam Gase at one point in the first quarter for running the clock out. It was mind boggling.
At least he’s got the Cubs to look forward to this year.
Woo!
