This kid is going places. Reddit user LikeTheCaptain‘s application for a Los Angeles Advertising internship included a video requirement, and I’m pretty sure he nailed it. He explained the application prompt:
This was only a portion of the application process. I submitted a traditional resume and answered a series of other questions as well. The prompt for the video encouraged me to show creativity and have fun so that’s what I did. I had a blast making this and it represents who I am as a person and a creative professional. Maybe they did want someone wearing a suit and tie discussing their credentials but that wouldn’t accurately reflect my energy or personality and if they don’t like it then I don’t want to work for them anyway haha!
“Sabotage” is an all time underrated song, and I’d hire him just for working that into the video. When I was his age, I could barely muster up the energy to crank out a cover letter, let alone put something like this together..
