Even when traveling is at its easiest and most convenient, I still arrive at my destination pissed off. But lawd have mercy, if my plane gets rerouted to Wyoming, I would really snap.
The 160 passengers aboard the Frontier aircraft bound for Denver were forced by inclement weather to make an unscheduled pit stop in Cheyenne, Wyoming. A reasonably disgruntled flight of traveling individuals quickly turned into a hangry mob. The solution? Pizza, duh.
Captain Gerhard Brandner calmed the turbulent mood of the Frontier flight by placing a call to the local Domino’s for 38 pies. In a power move to all end power moves, Brandner got on the PA system following his order, “Ladies and gentlemen, Frontier Airlines is known for being one of the cheapest airlines in the US, but your captain is not cheap. I just ordered pizza for the entire plane.” And the crowd went wild.
Let’s do some math. Thirty-eight pies at eight slices a pop for 160 people? That’s only two slices per passenger. For any seasoned eater that’s a meager warm up, but for any trapped passenger that’s a great gesture.

I work in cheyenne, and i thought that this story was for the 16 passenger planes they typically fly out of here, but an actual 737, that’s pretty cool.
love this airport too. it’s so tiny that it makes security, baggage claim, and check in a breeze.
