Happy Halloween! Although today is the actual holiday itself, I imagine most of you dabbled in some sort of debauchery this past weekend on account of having real jobs to get to this week. While Tuesday is typically the worst work day of the week according to most experts, hopefully this showcase of some of PGP’s own remote writers Halloween costumes will bring you some joy.
Starting off we have PGP’s own self-proclaimed sports betting expert Boston Max. With a throwback to the timeless sitcom The Fresh prince of Bel-Air, Max has played dress-up as the Fresh Prince himself, Will. The hat and jacket are definitely bright enough to give out that ’90s vibe, but I would have loved to see the bottoms he paired with this get-up. Good creativity and execution with this costume. 8/10.
Next up we have SME_Annie with a very well done take on a current event. SME_Annie is pictured here as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. Her better half is accompanying her in what appears to be Kim Jung Un with a name-tag reading “Rocket Man.” Generally not a fan of couples costumes because I believe each individual should be able to choose what they dress up as, but this one made me LOL when I realized what they were. The one downside of this costume is I originally thought she was a crayon. Once you analyze the details however, this is a fantastic costume. 8.5/10.
Here we have Kevin Caufield featured as Bluto from Animal House. The sweatshirt is iconic so it doesn’t leave many questions as to what Kevin is supposed to be, but I can’t really give Kev high marks here because there just isn’t much effort put into this piece. “I went lazy and did John Belushi from Animal House. It’s the second time I’ve done it.” – Kevin Caufield, Sunday 10/29 10:01pm. At least he is self-aware. Thanks for the submission Kevin, but we all know you are capable of more. 6.5/10.
As a comedian, I imagine John Hickey is familiar with making an absolute fool out of himself. Here we can see that JR does not comprehend the meaning of the word “shame,” even in the slightest. Strictly on shock factor alone JR gets high marks for this sexy little number. Your Capital F Fiancee is one lucky lady. 9/10.
Charlie here has done a pretty decent job at portraying Harrison Ford’s 2nd most popular character, Indiana Jones. Equipped with a satchel, hat, and whip, Charlie pulled out all of the stops with this one. The only flaw is the footwear. You think the adventure hero is out-running giant boulders and tromping through the jungle in a pair of suede dress shoes? Me neither. 8.5/10.
Whatever Lola Wants and her boy-toy take the cake with this perfectly executed 101 Dalmatians pairing. That wig and that make-up was very, very well done. The cigarette is a nice touch too. As one of the biggest Disney fans you’ll ever come across, I thoroughly appreciate this work. Nice job Lola. 9.5/10.
I’ll just leave this here. Y’all can just give me the $250 Man Outfitters gift card now because this is the winning submission in PGP’s Grown Ass Halloween Photo Contest.
If you haven’t yet, head over to PGP’s Instagram to submit your Halloween photo entry for a chance to win a $250 Man Outfitters gift card. Happy Halloween everybody!.
I felt very objectified the entire night and frankly didn’t appreciate the attention
I got laid while dressed in a fairy costume with wings, leggings and a tutu. PGPM.
In regards to what I was wearing below the frame, jeans and Nikes. Nothing too crazy
