There are three things in life that I absolutely love: NASCAR, Taco Bell, and hazing interns. NASCAR driver Landon Cassill did a glorious deed last week and combined all three into a fun little story that he summed up on his Twitter.
His interns asked if he got special discounts at Taco Bell (his car is sponsored by Taco Bell).
Landon doesn’t really care about a discount anyway, because a big baller like him isn’t worried about dropping $5 at the local T-Bell.
He then came up with the bright idea to send the youngbloods out to scoop him some T-Bell. Instead of just hazing the interns by making them get him food, he decided to step it up a little bit more. He googled Taco Bell prices and found the local price for a crunchy taco was $1.19. He told the interns to ask for the “Landon Cassill Crispy Taco” discount. To guarantee he could catch the prank on video he told them to film it for sponsors.
The poor guys get to the drive thru and try to order a 6-pack of the special tacos. They settle for a 10-pack and ask for the “Landon Cassill Crispy Taco” discount. The lady taking their order of course has absolutely no idea what they are talking about and the banter a little back and forth.
Got heeeeeem. I love the tone of the girl’s voice when she informs him that all tacos are $1.19. Interns, if you’re reading this, watch out. Whether you’re slaving away getting coffee, filing, organizing, or going on Taco Bell runs for a NASCAR driver, none of you are safe. Everyone loves hazing interns. Everyone knows that one Liam Neeson quote from Taken : “I will look for you, I will find you, and I will haze you.”
Hats off to Landon Cassill for finding a fun way to publicly embarrass some interns..

All we do is just make our interns water a plastic plant every morning.
