As I drive across the beautiful Cleveland landscape every morning , I read this column while pumping 24 oz of coffee into my system. Good morning everyone! Yesterday was pretty uneventful but I’ll let you in on a little secret: OCR (Tesseract software) is going to be integrated in a lot of different technology use cases. Mix that with Magic Leap’s augmented reality lens and you got yourself a world where hardware is obsoleted and everything is tracked and measured then sold to companies to further spy on your personal habits and psyche. Pretty soon, Amazon will buy out and canabalize every other industry, it will then buy out the government and the military where we will then all be employees of Amazon and wear Amazon uniforms and live in Amazon work camps. Jeff Bezos will become a staunch dictator who will obscure cultural, religious, and country lines but he will be praised in propaganda for finally bringing the world together in unity and it will all be because you and I didn’t feel like driving to a god damn store to buy the dumb shit we didn’t need in the first place.
