He’s won an Oscar, an Emmy, and now he’s about to become a vlogging YouTube sensation after his channel has been discovered by Reddit. In one of the weirder things I’ve ever seen, Matthew McConaughey has a YouTube channel that’s flown completely under the radar for over a year now. Like, really under the radar.
At the time I write this, he has posted six videos, possesses 8,400 subscribers, and his most-watched video has just 21,000 views with no others having over 6,000 views. For an A-List celebrity who is verified on YouTube, it’s absolutely insane that he could post videos that get this few views. I mean, it’s Matthew fuckin’ McConaughey. The “alright, alright, alright” guy who was the toast of the town in Hollywood for two years running during his hot streak. It’s incredible.
Watch for yourself.
Sure, he’s promoting a clean water initiative in pretty much all of the videos, but only having around 5,000 views per video is still incredibly low considering this guy rakes in millions per movie. And if you think this hasn’t convinced me to head to Whole Foods to contribute, you’re out of your damn mind. Well, I was probably going to go to Whole Foods anyway but now that McConaughey is vouching for me, I’m going to go with a purpose. .

I want your job so I can Google “Random shit that’s popular today” and do a short write up on it.
You’re right. That’s literally all that I do.
No, apparently you also reply to internet trolls. Weak.
