In my 4 years I’ve learned “best” is best. Doesn’t require a stupid exclamation point like “thanks”, less formal than “regards”, and isn’t douchy like “cheers”. Unless of course you’re an Aussie and use cheers in regularly daily language, in that case, go ahead.
