Johnny Manziel left Texas A&M for the NFL after his sophomore season in College Station. After what can only be described as an absolute trainwreck of a career in the league, it appears that Johnny Football is re-enrolling at his former college to finish his degree.
I don’t know much about Texas A&M, but from what I’ve heard it’s an almost cultish environment. I couldn’t imagine Manziel moving back to College Station and attending classes like some sort of commoner and apparently neither can he. He’s listed as a senior right now majoring in recreation, parks and tourism sciences, but he’ll finish up his requirements online and continue to live in Los Angeles.
Can you really blame the guy for only wanting to take classes from L.A.? After spending a few years in the NFL, jet-setting around the world with famous people, and doing what I can only assume is top notch cocaine, I wouldn’t want to move back to College Station, Texas either. I’ve heard from multiple Texans that A&M brainwashes you the second you move into your dorm freshman year, and I just feel like Manziel is way too big time to be living in that town. I’m not exactly sure what kind of job he’ll be looking to get with a degree in Tourism Sciences, but more power to him. I think he’s way past thinking he can still get picked up by an NFL team as a quarterback..

He’s the kind of guy who probably still has student loans after being in the NFL.
Are you retail, research, or sales?
He’s probably in Texas for the same reason as Dorn, age of consent.
Austin, no cults whatsoever right? Come to the Chicken sometime I’ll get a pitcher.
Hate your first job? Go back to college. The postgrad dream.
I wish we didn’t allow exceptions for “celebrities”, he should be getting his degree in person like the rest of the student body.
