And while you’re at it, why not make a little donation to charity for IHOP’s trouble? After all, any and all donations will go straight to the Children’s Miracle Network, and all you have to do is leave some pocket change on the table as you go. If enough people do it, maybe IHOP will reach its $3.5 million goal for this year, with more than 1,500 stores participating.
“Little did we dream, ten years ago, that thanks to the generosity of our guests, we would be able to raise $16 million, one short stack at a time, and make a substantial difference in the lives of the children in our local communities,” said Julia Stewart, interim president of International House of Pancakes. (By the way, interim president? Sounds like we’ve got some Frank Underwood shit going on at the IHOP.)
