Today — right now, actually — we are officially launching Grandex Labs, Grandex Media’s new experimental podcast feed that will house some of the most diverse, candid, distinct, topical, and hilarious audio content you’ll find anywhere on the internet. Welcome.
I, along with the always-amazing Dave Ruff and Ross Bolen (Producer Micah was there, too), just did a quick explanation podcast on the Grandex Labs podcast feed that gives you a full rundown of what Grandex Labs is about as well as runs you through the current and future content you’ll find once you hit subscribe.
Are you sold already? Great — subscribe here, sit back, relax, and get ready for us to hit you with fresh, new, one-of-a-kind podcasts multiple times per week.
Still need more convincing? Understandable, as your ears are valuable things both in terms of the enjoyment they’re capable of giving you and how much they can fetch on the black market if you know a plug. You’re not just going to give them to us all willy-nilly.
Here’s the story behind how Grandex Labs came to be. We here at Grandex Media (the parent company of Post Grad Problems, TFM, Total Sorority Move, Rowdy Gentleman, and Man Outfitters) have been deep in the podcast game for a while now, producing iTunes-charting shows such as our top-4 Game of Thrones podcast Oysters, Clams & Cockles, y’alls favorite Touching Base with Post Grad Problems, and Back Door Cover, our sports podcast for people who get weird and gamble but also who like to talk about badass animals that can kill the shit out of you.
While developing our current lineup of shows, we’ve had numerous random ideas for new podcasts come up that made us go, “We think this would be unique and awesome, but do the people want it?” Due to all the hoops that must be jumped through with regard to launching new podcasts, we never had a way of finding out if you — the aforementioned people — wanted these potential shows before we devoted our full time and effort to them. Because of that, they lay dormant, like the supervolcano under Yellowstone that’s going to erupt one day and turn Old Faithful from a beloved family-friendly tourist stop into Earth’s lava diarrhea-spewing asshole and kill us all.
Until now, that is. Grandex Labs is the new home for those untested, unfiltered podcasts; the ones we’ve always wanted to make but never got the chance to try out. It’s finally their time to shine, and it’s gonna be quite the ride.
Now for a quick rundown of the launch content you’ll currently find on Grandex Labs on which we’re awaiting your feedback (we’ll get to that in a second):
TFM News
Description: Every week, we’ll bring you the most important college news from campuses across the country. We’ll also be putting out weekly spiced-up audio versions of classic stories from the TFM archives.

The Borislow Zone
Description: Jared and Jeff Borislow are brothers by day, problem solvers by night (and also brothers by night). In their new podcast “The Borislow Zone” on Grandex Labs, they’ll be teaching you, the listener, how to do things you’ve always wanted to do. Do they already know how to do those things? Nope; they’ll be learning how to do them for you (to the best of their abilities) on the podcast.

Supps Dawg
Description: We interrupt your workout to offer up unsolicited tips to help optimize not just the same basic regiment you’ve been doing for a decade, but your general way of life as well. With cutting-edge advice not currently backed by science or common sense, this podcast will help inspire peak performance to become the best you… at least until happy hour. On our first episode, we talk about the things in our lives we’ve given up to go to the gym, Jake’s Keto challenge, bulking season, and barbell hip thrusts. Plus, future spin instructor Tasha Bates joins us to talk about a new study about group exercise, and Dan ends the show with his “Motivational Minute.”

Touching Things
Description: Touching Things is an example of the one-off, non-serial audio specials you can expect to receive courtesy of Grandex Labs. In it, David Ruff and Will deFries of Touching Base with Post Grad Problems cram nine episodes of the new season of Stranger Things into 90 minutes. They run through every character (new and old) before discussing their favorite (and least favorite) episodes from the season that was. They also answer a list of burning questions that include (but are not limited to) Billy’s workout routine/sexuality, why all of Will’s friends still like him, and whether or not Tina’s party was the most lit party in the history of Hawkins, Indiana.
Along with these audio specials, we’ll also be hosting “Best of…” compilations from your favorite current Grandex Media podcasts on Grandex Labs, so stay tuned for those as well.

Now for the best part about following along with Grandex Labs: our listeners will be actively involved in shaping the feed and determining the individual success of each podcast. That’s right: your feedback is not only wanted, but necessary.
It’ll work like this: if y’all hate a podcast, let us know by reaching out to us on Twitter @GrandexLabs and/or @WhateverTheShowInQuestion’sHandleIs (make sure to follow them for important feed updates, too). If a consensus is reached, we’ll scrap the idea.
Alternatively, if you love a podcast, do the same thing by informing us @GrandexLabs and/or @WhateverTheShowInQuestion’sHandleIs. If Grandex Labs listeners agree that a Grandex Labs project is just too good to not be standalone, it’ll graduate to its own feed. We’ll then give it all the budget and promotion it needs to turn from a test run podcast into a full-blown show you can enjoy every week until we all die when the supervolcano under Yellowstone finally erupts. Stay woke.
Ideally you’ll love everything Grandex Labs puts out. But if you don’t, let us know and we’ll change that for you. That’s what this shit’s all about.
Still with me? Great. Here’s a recap:
1. Subscribe to Grandex Labs on iTunes for a podcast experience unlike any other
2. Follow @GrandexLabs on Twitter to stay up-to-date on all things Grandex Labs as well as to give us feedback on our shows
Let’s do this..
FINALLY
So, what’s your favorite piece of lab equipment?
dead rat
Fire blanket no doubt. If needed it means things have gotten a little too hot to handle.
I’m a huge mortar and pestle guy, myself.
Time for F’n around, the Zach Efron podcast.
