Are you really trying to not get hit on by guys and have a “girl’s night” when it doesn’t start until 10 PM? Serious question.
No one is ever TRYING to get hit on. Were the single girls in the group hoping to meet guys? Maybe. But I wasn’t there, nor am I single, so I couldn’t tell you.
The “you” in my comment wasn’t directly at your situation. I was trying to open it up for greater discussion, poor word choice on my part.
I think everyone single wants to be hit on, but just not by the creep who’s forcing you take take shots and stumbling all over himself. I’d wager everyone, guy and girl, is hoping to run into someone who’s put together and attractive.
Otherwise, why not just settle for happy hour several hours earlier if you’re not wanting to meet Mr./Mrs. Right?
