There are rumors circulating that Google might swoop in and make a bid for Time Warner. A huge part of Time Warner is its sports holdings. As an avid sports fan, Google CEO Larry Page is likely to make a bid greater than Fox’s $80 billion offer. Just kidding, he doesn’t even get football. In fact, your girlfriend probably knows more.
That’s right. The CEO of the powerhouse Google-the company that interrogates its entry-level applicants with mind puzzles while presumably using mild Medieval torture techniques can’t understand the sport of football.
Former Google employee tried to walk David Girouard tried to walk Page through the fundamentals during the 2010 Super Bowl, but stated that one of the smartest tech minds in the world claimed the sport was, “Very complicated.”
Fast forward to 2014, where Girouard took to Twitter to take a jab at Page concerning the potential buyout:
