$60 million. That’s how much money Netflix is paying Dave Chappelle as part of a three-part comedy special deal. Just an obscene amount of cash that screams, “Dave Chappelle’s agent is a deal closer.”
Over the last couple months, Chappelle has been much more in the spotlight than he has been in years. Saturday Night Live, stand-up appearances, your run-of-the-mill media tour that he probably hates doing despite the fact that he’s making $60 million fucking dollars.
And today, about four months after it was initially announced that these specials would hit Netflix on March 21, we finally have the first official trailer.
If you haven’t already marked your calendar, mark it. I’m going to be in the camp that attempts to save it for the following Sunday when my hungover body will need it more than ever, but considering his special from the early 2000s is still one of the most rewatchable stand-ups ever done, I’m sure it won’t be the only time I watch. .
Pour up some grape drink, turn on the special, and let that hangover melt away
Dave is about to spit some hot fire
I’m so pumped. Might do some sidewalk slams before watching
“$60 fucking dollars.”
You should probably edit that one.

Will, it’s still “$60 million fucking dollars”
Which reads “Sixty million dollars fucking dollars”
Props on being the only one to try to slow down the drunk cigarette train though
