Proof that trickle-down economics works. A Burger King Franchise owner in Phoenix recently won the company’s highly coveted “Franchisee of the Year” thanks to the twenty-four franchise locations he oversees receiving high customer service reviews and corporate inspections. Owner, Tom Barnett received a Corvette and a Rolex for his utter domination of the fast food game, but rather then keep the gifts and ball the fuck out like most of us would, he decided to sell the gifts and give the cash to his loyal employees.
More than 100 Burger King employees received bonuses, which ranged from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.
In all, they gave out $120,000 to the staff.
“I just couldn’t believe it. I was in shock,” Charity Callahan, a 15-year employee, told 3TV. “It was almost an entire month’s worth of pay for me. They made us all feel appreciated.”
Good stuff. It’s kind of refreshing covering a story that’s not a cable company shitting on a customer. Also, I’ve always held the belief that the Whopper is a highly underrated burger..

That’s actually really awesome. On the other spectrum, my company had over $30B in revenue last year and doesn’t match your 401k. PGP.
