1.) Big week for *looks at note cards and squints eyes* Will deFries. Last week, he boldly proclaimed that he’d be writing more. I believe he even called his shot by stating, “I’m going to write 5 things next week.” I don’t have a source, but he assured me it’s true. Well, he definitely came out tossed a big 5 on board. Did he attempt to put Dillon and I in a bodybag today? He did. But content is content.
2.) Here’s a big shoutout that should have been made weeks ago: We’ve been getting big time submissions from Duda, Nick, and Josh T. High quality shit from these guys. We even got a “Chase” this week. Did NOT see that coming.
3.) Somewhat new contributor Katie Callaway sent many of us down a nostalgia wormhole this week with a very solid tribute to the Trinity Of Wholesome Television. Great stuff. A nice way to make me forget about this…

4.) We honestly did plan on rehashing snaccgate 2018, but it happened. Overall, I felt this was a particularly strong week for Touching Base.

Pretty solid ‘tent this week across the board. However, giving us an article on financial advice from a college intern who posts Instagrams of himself flexing in a mirror was a laughable wildcard move.

What’s the going rate for one-off articles that get published? Perhaps if it was decent and well known you’d get more submissions. Then again, I’ve made too many jokes in the comment section for anything of mine to get published.

Same. Been commenting for years and have been too lazy to write something, but if there were a transparent process of how it all works, I might do something. Maybe something finance/credit card related, partially to provide tips for the reader base, partially to piss off ATL Guy.
