Nobody tells a story on Twitter like Norm. Fresh off being unjustly ranked 135th of 141 on Rolling Stone’s all time cast rankings, Norm Macdonald took to Twitter to pull back the curtain on SNL40.
Per Norm, Eddie Murphy was targeted to play Bill Cosby during the Celebrity Jeopardy sketch. Norm played a major role in writing for the highly rated Special, and he was also tasked with convincing Murphy to participate. Kenan Thompson admirably filled the role after Murphy declined. What could have been. Here’s Norm’s take:
