UNFORTUNATE UPDATE: They’ve sold out after only a few hours. This is horrible news. Looks like it’s back to settling on Sun Drop and Shasta Mountain Rush.
The dream of the ’90s is alive and well. Coca-Cola, who is currently killing the marketing game with their “Share-a-Coke” campaign, decided they were gonna up the ante. They’re bringing back Surge. Yep. You know that stuff that was advertised as extreme soda because it had “more carbs, caffeine and sugar” than pussy drinks like Mountain Dew and Squirt? Yep. It’s back.
It’s not hitting the shelves, but Coke is making it available on Amazon.com. A 12-pack of cans is going to run you $14 bucks. So, fire up the N64, throw on your “Austin 3:16” t-shirt, order a large Stuffed Crust from Pizza Hut, turn on an episode of Global GUTS and get ready to relive your childhood.
The Facebook page “Surge Movement” is allegedly responsible for Coke reintroducing diabetic shock Surge to the American consumer public after buying billboards in Atlanta and selling $4,000 dollars worth of pro-Surge t-shirts.
A crowning achievement for ’90s kids. Now, bring back this commercial:
SUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRGE!

Can’t wait for Josta to come back. Best. Soda. Ever.
Was willingly going to spend $75 on Surge but it’s already sold out on Amazon.
Check out the comments on the Amazon page for a god laugh.
“With SURGE back, my orgasms will be more powerful than ever”

I preferred the comment as originally written.
My personal favorite Surge ad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k6m5BRGD9s
