“The Office” captured the American workplace better than any television show we’ve ever seen. The daily struggles of corporate America brilliantly skewered at 9pm ET every Thursday night from 2005-2013. Michael Scott’s legend still lives on and “The Office” serves as a timeless beacon of American parody.
Still, something gnaws at me whenever I re-watch it. The Jim and Pam subplot was by far, the most interesting (at least for a little bit) part of the show. I still can’t help but noticing how bad Pam sucked for the most part.
Great column. You should do a follow up called “20 Things Dwight Got Right”. 1. Discharging a firearm in the office.
it’s called a desk pop.
You forgot the time she refused to leave the office when she was about to have her kid and frazzled Jim
Wow. I noticed some things here and there but didn’t realize fully until I read this. Pam really did suck.
Karen won that break up for sure
Could not agree more with this column. Tip of the cap.
Best article I’ve ever read anywhere. Fuck Pam.
