Ever wonder which of the five girls in her Tinder picture is actually her? Well, soon you won’t have to, because Tinder is going to be releasing “Moment,” a Snapchat-like feature that will allow matches to send images that disappear after 24 hours. Tinder may even attempt to grow beyond its current reliance on Facebook as a platform.
“We are thinking to change that to penetrate parts of the world where Facebook is not as popular as local social media, such as Russia and China,” co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Sean Rad told the media, presumably snickering after using the word “penetrate.”
Of course, there’s always the chance that this feature could descend to far more nefarious uses. Ladies, get ready to receive a steady flow of hog shots. Men, get ready to cross your fingers and hope she thinks the nudes you beg for will actually disappear in a couple seconds.
Oh and for you hardcore swipers, Tinder is even considering a subscription version too, for those looking to actually date their matches instead of, well, other things.
