Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev is about to cut one helluva check to his now ex-wife, Elena Rybolovleva. Rybolovlev is known as the “Fertilizer King” in Russia, owning the largest potash mining operation in the world and was once ranked the 79th richest person in the world. He’s now ranked 174th and has an estimated worth of $8.8 billion dollars. He also owns French soccer club AS Monaco. Sexy.
Apparently Mrs. Rybolovlev was fed up with Dmitry after 21 years of marriage and just took him for $4.5 billion dollars in divorce court. Since Rybolovlev has the fuck you-iest of “fuck you” money, the divorce trial took place in Swiss divorce court. I can only imagine the types of alimony checks that come out of those divorce settlements. Elena was apparently asking for a total of six billion, but reason prevailed in the end.
From the former Mrs. Fertilizer King’s lawyer:
“One may reasonably presume that Mr. Rybolovlev will appeal,” her lawyers said. “But the judgment shows already that, for the Geneva Tribunal of First Instance, no one — not even a Russian tycoon who put his fabulous fortune into legal structures such as trusts and offshore companies — is above the law.”
Damn. She’s going straight for the jugular. No mercy. Divorce proceedings began nearly six years ago, when Rybolovlev’s worth was topping $12.8 billion. That’s a lot of potash.

Someone should’ve told him that in Russia, pussy whips you
I can’t even come up a clever response for that. Well done.
