Two 20-somethings from Austin, Texas named John Ramsey and Preston Bates are the two young men behind an organization that has the current Republican establishment shaking in their dress boots. Their organization is called Liberty For All and intends to infuse, if not completely overtake the Republican party with Libertarian values and eradicate the neo-conservatism that has plagued the party for decades now.
Ramsey inherited a large bank fortune from his grandfather when he was 19-years-old and in 2012, founded a super PAC with a nearly one million dollars of his own money. That PAC turned into Liberty For All, a PAC that is dedicated to getting Libertarian candidates elected in state elections all across the country.
Read the entire article on Ramsey and Bates on Vocativ. They take jabs at the current GOP brass, including calling out Republican majority leader Mitch McConnell and suggest that yoga be taught to urban youth to cut down healthcare cost burdens in the inner city. It’s wild stuff. It is definitely worth the full read.
Libertarians: Spineless national legislation.
Conservatives: Morons.
Liberals: Morons.
Traditional Republican Platform: Lost forever, Nixon sent it out with a viking funeral.
If these guys are going to promote limited government while re-thinking where the the Republican party wants to stand on social issues, their cause will garner support from young voters (what the GOP sucks at) and aid in getting conservative elected.
LOL @ Neo-Cons
The guy who reads Ayn Rand and then inherits a bunch of money. How long would he survive in Galt’s Gulch I wonder…
So another PAC in the sea of rich people throwing money away due to a lack of a centralized planning network to give a cohesive message of either promoting one candidate, or knocking down another?
Not impressed.
If you think water fluoridation is a bad thing you are too stupid to hold public office.
Cause that’s what we need. More division in the Republican Party. Not that I necessarily disagree with everything etc, but ya know, how about the whole “common enemy” thing…
But it’s what the GOP needs! More people coming out against…fluoride? Jenny McCarthy and her anti-vaccine crusade could at least find common ground, but how about everyone else who isn’t a raving lunatic?
another problem with the Republican Party: thinking everyone that is “against” them is an enemy. Last I checked we were one country….
You’re an idiot…
Thanks buddy.
