Here’s Your October Netflix Rundown, Guys

It’s football season, which means there’s a least one less day during the week to indulge in Netflix. Which isn’t a bad thing, because frankly there’s not a ton of interest coming in October. The highlights: Mystic River (just so I can yell about the horrible Boston accents), two Kevin Hart specials, and the Olson twins classic New York Minute. The best thing in the October lineup is likely season 2 of Making A Murderer, although I can’t weigh in yet – I’m watching season 1 on my vacation this week, so I’m reserving judgment. Yes, I am very behind the TV fads.

As for what’s leaving – there are some heartbreakers here. About A Boy was a cute little series that of course NBC cancelled because they suck; Leap Year is a woefully underappreciated romantic comedy; and The Secret Life of Pets is my go-to when I need a little cheering up. But I suppose now I’ll have Boss Baby 2 for that.
