I’m departing for H-town this afternoon for my annual guys weekend with the old high school buddies. We have the Stros-Halos game tonight, where we’ll be playing the cup game and drinking $13 domestics, followed by a weekend of bar hopping and college football watching. I may come back tomorrow and catch some tailgating for Texas-TCU but it truly hard to say at this point.
Should be a fun weekend.

Today I’m going to get a haircut (first time in 2018) and then we’re going to El T of course. Tomorrow we’re (hopefully) going to Kirby Ice House for college football and beers.
Sunday the wife and I celebrate one (1) year of marriage. We’re going to spend the day drinking the wine we brought back from our honeymoon, going to a nice brunch and dinner, and then some sex. Have a blessed weekend y’all

My pregnant wife is due today! So, I guess hopefully we will be in the hospital all weekend and end up a with a healthy baby and healthy mom. I am kind of hoping the baby doesn’t come until at least tomorrow night though, so I can squeeze in one last round of mostly carefee golf(I am sure she will go in labor when I am furthest from the clubhouse with spotty cell service though). If it comes today though, I will definitely be blasting that Earth, Wind, and Fire song to wake up our child every birthday for the rest of that kid’s life.

Elk season if fast approaching so I’ll be going target practice with grandpas old 7mm Rem Magnum tonight, then scouting my hunting unit all weekend. I bought foam seating pads to make sitting down and glassing hillsides all day more comfortable on my bum.
What’s your bag setup? Looking for some tips especially if you’re camping
Weve got pretty good road proximity for out hunt so we should be fine with a base camp at the trucks but I’ve been looking at packable tents and sleeping bags if I need to go deeper and pack hunt

College football tomorrow, then maximizing all the birthday email offers I got, Sunday heading to the Texans game to watch the team that I believe now has the longest current losing streak in the NFL.

Getting 18 in at Torrey Pines tomorrow afternoon with the Father-in-law and some of his friends, then back to OC for a low-key Sunday. Fantasy opponent this week is my wife, her first season and she’s been intensely into it, so we’ll see how that goes.
In Michigan for a race, been hydrating and resting at the hotel, aka chugging water and watching HBO.
